Baseball Weekend...again!

We had another baseball filled couple of days since my last post. On Friday night, Aaron played in an adult league softball game with some law school friends. This was the last game of the spring season so Aaron was just filling in. But, starting in July, he'll be an official member of the summer league team so he's pretty excited. The game on Friday was only about 2 blocks from our house so he ran there after work and ET picked me up to grab some dinner to take to the game. I was only able to take (sneak) a few pictures without being the embarassing fan, haha:


It got dark out there pretty quick!

On Saturday morning, we headed up to Malibu for the last t-ball game of the season. The kiddos were darling, as usual!


The kids were extra excited about getting their trophies. They could barely make it through the handshakes!

The trophies were pretty cool because they already had names engraved on them. After all the trophies were handed out, the parents presented Aaron and Matt with some appreciation gifts that were SO generous. It was very sweet and unexpected!


After the game, we ran some errands and got ready to have two of our "bar babies" for dinner and dessert. Jackie and Jerren are dear friends of ours that are beginning their bar study for the summer. We had chicken lasagna with Jerren and then Jackie joined us for strawberry shortcake! We also decided on weekly dates with them so that hopefully, Aaron and I can be somekind of encouragement for them as they take on this big task. We know they will do great and we're excited and honored to be a part of it!
Jackie surprised us with these when she came over. I love them!
