Love Grows in Small Houses

Well, yesterday sure was an exciting day! Aaron finished his summer clerkship at Northrup Schluter, our couch arrived (!!!), and Aaron put the Craigslist find together! I'd say we are about 98% settled in our new little nest. Please forgive some of the clutter, and we'll probably do more rearranging in time, but here's a peek into our new apartment that is sure starting to look like a home!

Our Craiglist find

Aaron's study nook; the extra TV is NOT part of his study materials, haha!

(Our lovely desk came from the Tallent family, thank you!!)

The view from the front door; hellooooo beautiful (and uber-comfortable) couch!

The view from the TV and windows; I love the letters in the kitchen that Aaron hung up so precisely!

Our dining room table that will be cleared off SOON; when we moved in, we couldn't even see it under a pile of boxes so we've made progress.

This is the hallway going back towards our bedroom on the right and our bathroom on the left. Our wedding guests will recognize the "tree picture" that was the guestbook at our wedding!

The next two pictures are the bathroom cabinets we had to buy because our bathroom is really big, but it has no storage at all. They work out pretty well and I think they look good too!

Here's Aaron hard at work in our bedroom hanging up some little white shelves

And lastly, the makeshift vanity that I love so much! (We think that we'll be able to move the stuff from the bookshelf into the living room)

So, what do you think? And when are you coming to visit?!

Happy Wednesday, y'all!

"This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." 1 John 1:5-7
